Self Charging Hybrid Vehicles (HEV)
Runs on both engine and electric motor. The self charging Hybrid range charges itself as you drive. Seamlessly blending petrol and electric power to maximise fuel efficiency. This is all automoatic. (HEV)
Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles (PHEV)
Runs on both engine and an electric battery charged by a cable plugged in to the electricity grid. When charged, the engine runs on the electric battery and when the battery runs low, the petrol engine takes over. The best of two worlds. You need to fuel up sometimes. (PHEV)
Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV)
Runs entirely on an electric batteri charged by a cable plugged in to the electricity grid. Do not use petrol at all, hence ultra-low running costs and a very quiet drive. (BEV)
